  1. If required, trim the Wunderfloor panels to suit the space between the joists—
the fit should be snug to hold them in place. Use the concertina grooves as a
guide for a straight cut. The Wunderfloor panels can be cut with a serrated bread
knife or long-bladed sharp craft knife.

  2. Push the Wunderfloor panels into the space between the joists with the correct
side against the underside of the floor (this is labelled on each panel). Make sure
that the Wunderfloor panels are pushed hard up against the flooring.

  3. Cut the Wunderfloor panels to fit snugly around any pipes.

  4. Keep all electrical wires away from the Wunderfloor panels, but if unavoidable,
separate the wiring from the Wunderfloor panels with self adhesive tape or
similar. Direct prolonged contact between the Wunderfloor panels and electrical
    wiring is not allowed.

  5. Wunderfloor panels are supplied with fixing brackets. These are used to hold
the Wunderfloor panels in place in windy conditions or if the joist spacing is
not consistent. Staple the bracket to the joist tight up against the
underside of the Wunderfloor panels. Use two brackets per Wunderfloor panel,
either at the middle of the panel or overlapping the joints between two panels.

  6. Be aware of electrical cables.
DO NOT STAPLE THE BRACKETS WITHIN 100mm OF ELECTRICAL WIRES/CABLES.

  7. Continue placing the Wunderfloor panels end to end in each joist space, until
the entire floor area is covered, cutting to length.

  8. Smaller areas can be covered with part-panels made from off cuts. Other offcuts
can be used as insulation is other areas of the house. You could even break
the off-cuts into small pieces and add to your pot plant soil to aid drainage.
